"Love the moment, and the energy of that moment will spread beyond all boundaries." - Corita Kent
Bob called this set-up his "doodle bed." He didn't know they were called noodles.
Bob's latest master piece. We got a new grill today (you don't even want to know what the old one looks like.) The book said, "some assembly required." Three hours and about four hundred parts later the grill was ready.
Bob with towel and fins, ready to hit the water. When Liam and Tonia saw him walking toward the pool they couldn't stop laughing (you can't see in the photo, but he has on boots as well -- 1) he was prepared for the cold; and 2) you can't wear the fins without the boots.)
Liam and Mommy just before jumping in for a swim.
CANNONBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The new environmentally friendly heating system -- Zero emissions, uses solar energy, stops evaporation, saves on chemical use, and helps keep the pool clean. The roller still needs to be installed. Bob put the cover down hoping to heat the pool up a little so that we might be able to swim without a wetsuit by the holiday weekend.
Liam preparing a cucumber tomato salad.
Finishing off his master piece of a salad (it was actually very good) and the field green salad. As he was eating he said, "I'm just a vegetable eater, 'cause I love vegetables."
Bob pruned back the trees around the pool. The trees are beautiful, but shade and falling leaves can put a crimp in pool-time.
Blowing debris off the pool cover before it was removed. As you can see in the two above photos, Liam mimicked everything Bobby did on Sunday.
After cover was removed -- not very inviting unless you are Shrek.
This is not a bush, it is the pile of branches that Bob pruned. Bobby cut...Tonia hauled.
The boys made this beautiful sign. Tonia was out late last night at her teacher's 68th birthday party. She awoke this morning to find a certain five-year-old sitting next to the bed staring at her. He was very anxious to show her his artwork.
Playing with the walkie-talkies. Liam and Daddy had been in the backyard, and Mommy was walking down Carlton Road. At this point in the game, they found each other.
Tonia's Mother's Day gift - two yards of mulch.
Tonia was responsible for drawing the mulch for Bobby. This was after it was determined that she did not spread it correctly. (It's tons more fun pushing the wheelbarrow around the yard anyway.)
Liam coming out of his shell. Could he be a future Terp?
This is one of the little girls who chatted-up Liam today. He was also approached at the petting zoo, and at the Sea Lion exhibit.
He feed every animal in the petting zoo. I was surprised with how comfortable he was -- absolutely no fear. It was very funny to watch him talk with the animals -- letting them know that once they were feed he needed to be fair and move on to the next animal.
Spiderman. The artist liked the way Liam's face paint turned out, so she took a picture of him to put on her website.
Spiderman with Mommy who got a new necklace.
Tonia lost the battle re: the Blue Spruce.
This picture was taken while Liam was working on his second marriage proposal of the day. He went to the fence, flowers in hand, and asked the girl next door (who is six) if she would marry him -- we think she said yes.
Relaxing and coloring -- looking so innocent. Resting up before his attempt to saw a tree down. (From what I understand, his father and Uncle Tommy at the ages of four and five did chop a tree down. Must be in the blood.)

Every time we go to Fiesta Mexicana Liam gets a piece of gum from the bubble gum machine, and then makes a wish in the fountain. Now that he is getting older, he really thinks, and thinks, and thinks about his wish before throwing the penny.
With full bellies and jammies on we chilled and watched a movie.
