Liam and Grandma prepping the turkey. Liam declared this disgusting! Think he might become a vegi chef.

Have you seen the Thanksgiving turkey?
Liam had to disguise a turkey so that he wouldn't be cooked for Thanksgiving. He decided to hide the turkey in goalie gear. Henrik Lundqvist to be exact. So, you won't believe this one. Liam has a schedule conflict tomorrow afternoon -- birthday party, and a hockey practice (where he will play goalie.) When asked which one he would prefer to attend, he said hockey practice! Absolutely unbelievable. He looked at me like I'd lost my mind to even think there would be a contest between goal tending or partying it up.

Finally a Goalie! Yet still a forward as well.
Liam is one happy, happy little man at the moment. He gets to play two hockey games on Sundays now! Liam will be playing Goalie for one of Pearl River's house teams. He will also play on his regular team as a forward. This morning, he skated in a game at 6 a.m.. This afternoon, he tended goal at 1 p.m.

Who says dreams can't come true?
Tonight was HUGE for Liam! He got to play the position of goaltender!! Ever since he first discovered ice hockey, he has wanted to be a goalie. The coaches and his parents have had other ideas, however. Those silly people keep pushing him to play as a forward.
Liam did a very good job this evening, he made some nice saves. The coach has said that he would like to try Liam out in the position in some more games as the season progresses.
Only problem...the gear is still a little too big for him. He wasn't taking that as an excuse not to play.
